Part Category: Cables

  • Supermicro CBL-SAST-0593

    Supermicro CBL-SAST-0593

This is a Mini SAS HD storage cable pulled from a Supermicro SYS-2029U-E1CRT server.

    Notes:

    • Straight-through Mini-SAS HD (SFF-8643) to Mini-SAS HD (SFF-8643) cable.
    • Supports up to 4 SAS/SATA lanes per connector.
    • Commonly paired with Supermicro 12Gb/s SAS backplanes.
    • A single cable can connect up to 4 drives when used with a standard SAS backplane connection.
    • Designed specifically for internal server storage applications.
    • Not compatible with older Mini-SAS (SFF-8087) connectors without an adapter cable.
    • Supermicro also offers similar cables in different lengths, such as the CBL-SAST-0531 (80cm).
  • Supermicro CBL-SAST-0972 NVME Cables

    Supermicro CBL-SAST-0972 NVME Cables

This is a set of OCuLink cables pulled from a Supermicro SYS-2029U-E1CRT server. They connect to the backplane with a Mini SAS HD connector and then to the motherboard with OCuLink. They provide a direct connection to the PCIe system for NVME drives.

    Notes:

    • Connects an OCuLink (SFF-8611) host port to a MiniSAS HD (SFF-8643) NVMe backplane.
    • Designed for PCIe x4 (NVMe) storage connectivity.
    • Supports connection to up to four NVMe SSDs through a compatible NVMe backplane.
    • Not compatible with SAS or SATA devices. Although it uses an SFF-8643 connector, it carries PCIe/NVMe signals only.
    • Not interchangeable with standard MiniSAS HD SAS/SATA cables.
    • Passive cable with no signal conversion; both the motherboard/controller and backplane must support the same NVMe interface.
    • Commonly used in Supermicro servers equipped with OCuLink-enabled motherboards and NVMe backplanes.
    • Validated by Supermicro for systems including SYS-4029GP-TRT, SYS-4029GP-TRT2, and SYS-4029GP-TRT3.
  • HP G10 10 Bay NVME Cable Port 1 869681-001

    HP G10 10 Bay NVME Cable Port 1 869681-001

This is the first set of NVME cables for the HP DL 360 G10 10 Bay NVME backplane. It connects from the backplane and routes to the rear of the server to the following NVME riser.

    Notes

    • Category: Storage Cable
    • Type: Internal NVMe data cable
    • Interface: PCIe NVMe
    • Port Assignment: NVMe Port 1
    • Used with:
    • Required for NVMe functionality in the DL360 Gen10 10SFF Premium storage configuration.
    • Not required for SAS/SATA-only configurations.
  • HP DL 360 10 Bay G10 NVME Cable Port 3/4/5 869676-001

    HP DL 360 10 Bay G10 NVME Cable Port 3/4/5 869676-001

NVME cable that connects from ports 3/4/5 on the NVME backplane to the NVME riser on the HP DL 360 G10 10 Bay server.

    Notes:

    • Type: Internal NVMe data cable (not power).
    • Connects NVMe backplane ports 3, 4, and 5 to the corresponding NVMe riser connections.
    • Used with:
    • Required for NVMe drive support; not needed for SAS/SATA-only configurations.
    • Part of the DL360 Gen10 10SFF NVMe enablement cable set.
    • Cable routing depends on the installed riser/backplane configuration.
  • HP DL 360 G10 10 Bay NVME Cable Port 2 869680-001

    HP DL 360 G10 10 Bay NVME Cable Port 2 869680-001

This is a set of NVME cables designed to enable NVME connectivity on the HP DL 360 G10 server. It connects from port 2 on the NVME backplane and then routes to the NVME riser in the rear of the server.

    Notes:

    • Internal NVMe data cable used with the HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 10SFF Premium NVMe backplane configuration.
    • Connects the 10SFF NVMe backplane to the NVMe riser assembly.
    • Used to provide PCIe connectivity for NVMe drive bays.
    • Part of the DL360 Gen10 10SFF NVMe enablement cable set.
    • Cable routing/port assignment depends on the installed NVMe riser and backplane configuration.
    • Not required for standard SAS/SATA-only configurations.
