  • R730 Fan Assembly Cage 0CY8YY

    R730 Fan Assembly Cage 0CY8YY

This is the modular fan assembly cage compatible with the R730 and R730xd servers.

    Notes:

    • Supports 6 hot-swappable cooling fan modules.
    • Fan cage only; cooling fans are sold separately.
    • Used in Dell PowerEdge R730 and PowerEdge R730xd servers.
    • Mounts between the server’s front drive area and the motherboard, providing proper positioning and airflow for the cooling fans.
    • Designed for quick installation and removal of individual hot-swap fan modules without replacing the entire assembly.
    • Dell DP/N: 0CY8YY (alternate part number CY8YY).
  • R730 8 Bay SFF Backplane 0TGNMY

    R730 8 Bay SFF Backplane 0TGNMY

This is the backplane for the Dell PowerEdge R730 8 Bay SFF server.

    Notes:

    • Supports 8 × 2.5-inch hot-plug SAS/SATA drives.
    • Used in the Dell PowerEdge R730.
    • Also used in some Dell Precision Rack 7910 configurations with an 8-bay SFF front drive cage.
    • Compatible with Dell PERC Mini RAID controllers such as the H330 Mini, H730 Mini, and H730P Mini when used with the appropriate Mini-SAS HD cable (e.g., 0F037K or FN73C).
    • Requires a separate backplane power cable and backplane signal cable for operation.
    • Dell Description: ASSY, PWA, BKPLN, 8X2.5, R730.

Dell DP/N: 0TGNMY (alternate part number TGNMY).

  • R730 8 Bay SFF BP Power Cable 0123W8

R730 8 Bay SFF BP Power Cable 0123W8

This is the power cable that attaches from the backplane to the motherboard on a Dell Poweredge R730 8 Bay SFF server.

    Notes

    • 8-pin backplane power cable assembly.
    • Approximately 9 inches (23 cm) in length.
    • Power cable only; it does not carry SAS/SATA data or backplane control signals. Those functions are handled by separate RAID and signal cables.
    • Typically used alongside the RAID cable (such as 0F037K) and a separate backplane signal cable (such as 0TRFPV, depending on the server configuration).
    • Dell DP/N: 0123W8 (alternate part number 123W8).

  • R730 8 Bay SFF BP Signal Cable 0TRFPV

R730 8 Bay SFF BP Signal Cable 0TRFPV

This is the signal cable that attaches from the backplane to the motherboard on a Dell PowerEdge R730 8 Bay SFF server.

    Notes

    • 16-pin to 16-pin signal cable.
    • Approximately 23.5 inches (60 cm) in length.
    • Used to carry control/status signals between the motherboard and the drive backplane; it is not a SAS data cable.
    • Commonly used in Dell PowerEdge R730 systems.
    • Also found in some PowerEdge R730xd and Precision Tower 7910 configurations.
    • Dell DP/N: 0TRFPV (alternate part number TRFPV).
  • R730 8 Bay SFF Mini Mono Cable 0F037K

R730 8 Bay SFF Mini Mono Cable 0F037K

This is the SAS storage cable for the R730 8 Bay SFF server. One end connects to the backplane and the other end routes through the right side channel of the server where it terminates at one of Dells mini mono RAID or HBA controllers.

    Notes:

    • Dual Mini-SAS HD (SFF-8643) cable assembly.
    • Used with Dell PERC Mini controllers including H330 Mini, H730 Mini, and H730P Mini.
    • Commonly found in Dell PowerEdge R730 and R730xd systems with front SAS/SATA backplanes.
    • Connects the RAID controller directly to the front drive backplane, carrying data for up to eight front drives on standard 8-bay configurations.
    • Uses SFF-8643 (Mini-SAS HD) connectors on both ends.
    • Dell DP/N: 0F037K (also written as F037K).
