  • R740xd NVME cable A2 B2 0C1FRG

    R740xd NVME cable A2 B2 0C1FRG

There are 3 sets of cables to enable full NVME support on the Dell PowerEdge R740xd 24 bay server. This is the third set of cables that plug into ports A2 and B2.

    Notes:

    • NVMe backplane cable for the Dell PowerEdge R740xd 24-bay SFF configuration.
    • Connects the NVMe backplane to the PCIe/drive-expander connection.
    • Used for the A2/B2 NVMe backplane connections.
    • Dual SlimSAS (SFF-8654) cable.
    • Associated with the R740xd 24-bay 2.5-inch NVMe configuration.
    • Dell DP/N: 0C1FRG (C1FRG).
  • R440 8 Bay H750 PCIe SAS Cable 0TGJR4

    R440 8 Bay H750 PCIe SAS Cable 0TGJR4

This is a SAS storage cable for the Dell PowerEdge R440. It’s compatible with RAID controllers like the H750.

    Notes:

    • Dell DP/N 0TGJR4 (TGJR4).
    • SAS cable for the Dell PowerEdge R440 8-bay SFF configuration.
    • Used to connect the 8-bay SAS/SATA backplane to supported internal storage controllers.
    • Compatible with Dell PERC controllers such as the H750.
    • Intended for the R440’s front 2.5-inch drive backplane and internal SAS storage path.
    • This is a storage-controller-to-backplane SAS cable, not a general-purpose internal SAS cable.
    • Verify the controller and backplane configuration when selecting a replacement cable.
  • R940 UPI Cable 053J26

    R940 UPI Cable 053J26

There are 4 cables used to connect the primary motherboard to the extra mezzanine expansion board on the Dell PowerEdge R940. This is the cable for that purpose. All 4 cables are the same and share the same part number. You will need these cables to setup a 4 processor configuration. For 2 processor configurations a different set of cables are used.

    Notes:

    • Dell DP/N 053J26 (53J26).
    • UPI daughter board signal cable for the Dell PowerEdge R940.
    • Connects the system motherboard (MB) to the expansion motherboard/UPI daughter board.
    • Used as part of the R940’s Ultra Path Interconnect (UPI) architecture.
    • Approximately 0.25 m (10 in.) in length.
    • Uses proprietary connectors on both ends.
    • R940-specific cable; verify the installed processor/UPI expansion configuration before ordering.

  • R940 Clock Cable 0MXX5P

    R940 Clock Cable 0MXX5P

This Dell R940 UPI clock cable is an internal system cable designed for 14th-generation PowerEdge R940 servers. It connects the system board to the processor expansion module (PEM) assembly and provides the UPI and clock interconnect required by the R940’s multi-processor architecture. Compatibility depends on the server configuration, including the chassis layout, PEM assembly, and corresponding system board connectors.

    Notes:

    • Dell DP/N 0MXX5P.
    • Internal cable used in the Dell PowerEdge R940.
    • Connects components associated with the R940 processor/mezzanine assembly.
    • Features Mini-SAS–style connectors.
    • Used for the system’s internal processor/interconnect architecture.
    • Not a standard front drive backplane data cable.

  • R940 8 Bay SFF PCIe SAS cable 047FV4

R940 8 Bay SFF PCIe SAS cable 047FV4

This is the SAS storage cable for the Dell PowerEdge R940 8 Bay SFF server. It connects to the backplane and then routes to the rear of the chassis where it connects to a PCIe RAID/HBA controller.

    • Dell Part Number: 047FV4
    • Alternate Part Number: 47FV4
    • Component: Dual Mini-SAS HD storage cable
    • Server: Dell PowerEdge R940
    • Application: R940 8-bay SFF storage configuration
    • Purpose: Connects the 8-bay SFF backplane to the PERC/storage controller.
    • Connectors: Mini-SAS HD (SFF-8643) connectors
    • Configuration: Dual SAS connections, A and B
    • Cable Length: Approximately 23.5–26 inches, depending on the specific cable section/measurement.
    • Related Backplane: R940 8-SFF backplane. A parts listing specifically identifies 47FV4 as the SAS cable for the R940 8 × 2.5-inch backplane.
    • Note: This is a storage/data cable, not a power cable. The R940 8-SFF backplane is separately listed with FH049 as the signal cable and NMRWR as the power cable, while 47FV4 is the SAS connection to the PERC.
