  • Supermicro CBL-SAST-0972 NVME Cables

    Supermicro CBL-SAST-0972 NVME Cables

This is a set of OCuLink cables pulled from a Supermicro SYS-2029U-E1CRT server. They connect to the backplane with a Mini SAS HD connector and then to the motherboard with OCuLink. They provide a direct connection to the PCIe system for NVME drives.

    Notes:

    • Connects an OCuLink (SFF-8611) host port to a MiniSAS HD (SFF-8643) NVMe backplane.
    • Designed for PCIe x4 (NVMe) storage connectivity.
    • Supports connection to up to four NVMe SSDs through a compatible NVMe backplane.
    • Not compatible with SAS or SATA devices. Although it uses an SFF-8643 connector, it carries PCIe/NVMe signals only.
    • Not interchangeable with standard MiniSAS HD SAS/SATA cables.
    • Passive cable with no signal conversion; both the motherboard/controller and backplane must support the same NVMe interface.
    • Commonly used in Supermicro servers equipped with OCuLink-enabled motherboards and NVMe backplanes.
    • Validated by Supermicro for systems including SYS-4029GP-TRT, SYS-4029GP-TRT2, and SYS-4029GP-TRT3.
  • Supermicro RSC-R2UW-4E8 Riser

    Supermicro RSC-R2UW-4E8 Riser

This is a riser card pulled from a Supermicro SYS-2029U-E1CRT 2u server.

    Notes:

    • Provides four full-height PCIe x8 expansion slots from a single WIO connector.
    • Passive riser—PCIe lane allocation is determined by the motherboard.
    • Intended for storage controllers, NICs, Fibre Channel HBAs, capture cards, and other PCIe x8 devices.
    • If using with an X10 or X11 WIO platform, ensure the riser is Revision 1.10 or newer. Earlier Rev. 1.02 boards were intended for X9 systems and may have compatibility issues (such as chassis intrusion detection problems).
  • MCP-310-82922-0N Right Air Shroud

    MCP-310-82922-0N Right Air Shroud

This is the right CPU air shroud for select Supermicro servers.

    Notes

    • Right-side companion to MCP-310-82921-0N (left-side air shroud).
    • Helps ensure proper airflow over the processors and memory.
    • Should be installed whenever the server is operating to prevent elevated CPU and DIMM temperatures.
    • Supermicro support identifies MCP-310-82921-0N (left) and MCP-310-82922-0N (right) as the correct air shrouds for the SYS-6029U-E1CR4T platform.
  • Supermicro MCP-310-82921-0N LEFT Air Shroud

    Supermicro MCP-310-82921-0N LEFT Air Shroud

This is a custom CPU cover for certain 2U servers from Supermicro. It functions like an air shroud and directs and funnels air straight to the CPU. The left CPU and right CPU have different molds of this shroud. This cover is for the left CPU.

    Notes

    • Designed specifically for Supermicro 2U chassis.
    • Required to maintain proper airflow over the processors and memory.
    • Removing or operating without the air shroud can significantly increase CPU and DIMM temperatures.
    • Typically installed with SNK-P0068PS CPU heatsinks in the supported systems.
  • HP G10 10 Bay NVME Cable Port 1 869681-001

    HP G10 10 Bay NVME Cable Port 1 869681-001

This is the first set of NVME cables for the HP DL 360 G10 10 Bay NVME backplane. It connects from the backplane and routes to the rear of the server to the following NVME riser.

    Notes

    • Category: Storage Cable
    • Type: Internal NVMe data cable
    • Interface: PCIe NVMe
    • Port Assignment: NVMe Port 1
    • Used with:
    • Required for NVMe functionality in the DL360 Gen10 10SFF Premium storage configuration.
    • Not required for SAS/SATA-only configurations.
