This SAS cable is used specifically with the NVME backplane on the HP DL 360 G10 10 Bay server. It connects the backplane to a RAID or HBA controller and enables support for both SAS and SATA drives.
Notes:
- SAS data cable; not a power cable.
- Used with the 875556-001 10SFF Premium SAS/SATA/NVMe backplane.
- Required when using SAS/SATA drives with the Smart Array controller.
- Does not provide NVMe connectivity by itself; NVMe drives require the additional NVMe cabling and riser hardware.
