    This is a riser card pulled from a Supermicro SYS-2029U-E1CRT 2u server.

    Notes:

    • Provides four full-height PCIe x8 expansion slots from a single WIO connector.
    • Passive riser—PCIe lane allocation is determined by the motherboard.
    • Intended for storage controllers, NICs, Fibre Channel HBAs, capture cards, and other PCIe x8 devices.
    • If using with an X10 or X11 WIO platform, ensure the riser is Revision 1.10 or newer. Earlier Rev. 1.02 boards were intended for X9 systems and may have compatibility issues (such as chassis intrusion detection problems).

    This is an NVME riser. It enables NVME support on the HP DL 360 G10 10 Bay server. NVME cables connect from the backplane and then feed into this riser.

    Notes:

    • Secondary NVMe riser board; not a storage controller.
    • Used with the 875556-001 10SFF Premium SAS/SATA/NVMe backplane for NVMe drive support.
    • Requires the appropriate NVMe cables between the riser and the backplane.
    • Provides PCIe connectivity required for direct NVMe drive attachment.
    • Installed in the secondary PCIe riser position of the DL360 Gen10.
    • Not required for standard SAS/SATA-only configurations.
    • Part of the DL360 Gen10 NVMe enablement hardware ecosystem.

    Primary riser pulled from an HP DL 360 G10 10 Bay server. Compatible with the entire line of 360 G10 servers.

    Notes

    • This is the metal riser cage/bracket assembly, not the PCIe riser board itself. A lot of times the PCB board is included with this part number, but not always.
    • Requires the appropriate DL360 Gen10 PCIe riser card to provide PCIe slots.
    • Used as the primary (left-side) expansion riser assembly in DL360 Gen10 systems.
    • Compatible only with the DL360 Gen10 chassis; it is not intended for DL380 Gen10 or earlier generations.

    Notes:

    • Passive riser (no active signal conversion)
    • Connects to a motherboard PCIe x16 riser connector
    • Supports PCIe expansion cards such as:

    • Intended for Supermicro 1U SuperServer platforms
    • Verify exact system compatibility before installation

    This is another variation of the riser found in HP DL 380 G10 servers. This one has an M.2 slot.

    Notes

    • PCIe riser board providing two PCIe x8 slots and one PCIe x16 slot, with integrated support for an M.2 storage module.
    • Designed for use in HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 servers and is also used in several Gen10 platform variants, including select SimpliVity and Azure Stack systems.
    • Enables installation of PCIe expansion cards such as network adapters, Fibre Channel HBAs, RAID controllers, SAS controllers, NVMe adapters, and an M.2 boot device (with compatible hardware).
    • PCIe slot availability depends on the server configuration. Some slots and features require a second processor to be installed before they become operational.
    • Compatible expansion cards and M.2 devices must meet the server’s physical, power, thermal, and firmware requirements.
