This is a custom CPU cover for certain 2U servers from Supermicro. It functions like an air shroud and directs and funnels air straight to the CPU. The left CPU and right CPU have different molds of this shroud. This cover is for the left CPU.

- Required to maintain proper airflow over the processors and memory.
- Removing or operating without the air shroud can significantly increase CPU and DIMM temperatures.
