Supermicro CBL-SAST-0531 is an 80 cm (31.5 in) internal Mini-SAS HD (SFF-8643) to Mini-SAS HD (SFF-8643) cable designed for connecting a SAS/SATA RAID controller or HBA to a compatible backplane inside a server. It supports 12 Gb/s SAS (SAS-3) operation, uses 30 AWG copper conductors, and complies with T10, SFF, RoHS, and REACH standards. It is commonly found in Supermicro storage servers and chassis equipped with SFF-8643 backplanes.
