- Provides two RJ45 10GBASE-T network ports supporting 100Mb, 1Gb, and 10Gb Ethernet connections.
- Uses the HPE FlexibleLOM form factor and installs into a compatible FlexibleLOM slot rather than a standard PCIe slot.
- Requires Category 6 (or better) twisted-pair cabling for 10GbE operation.
- Commonly deployed for virtualization, software-defined storage, backup networks, and high-bandwidth server connectivity.
- Compatible with numerous HPE ProLiant Gen8 and Gen9 servers, including the DL360 Gen9, DL380 Gen9, DL560 Gen9, and DL580 Gen9.
- Supports network teaming, load balancing, and failover when configured with appropriate operating system and network settings.
- Not compatible with standard PCIe riser slots unless the server specifically supports the FlexibleLOM interface.
